My name is Giordano Baravalle, but most people call me Gio. I was born and raised in Italy in a bilingual household, and I’m a dual citizen of both Italian and American nationality, hence my very long name. I speak Italian and English natively, and I also speak Spanish and Portuguese. I moved to New York City and the United States for the first time at the start of 2020. I’ve been working on audio for over the last 20 years while living in Italy, mostly as a music composer for artists and I love anything audio related. During the last 5 years, I’ve been working on voice-overs for personal projects and starting out it seemed very natural to me. I can contribute to any project that requires a warm, deep, yet emotive and passionate voice, and my skills allow me to edit audio quickly and with precision. I also make music compositions and play the piano. My style is very versatile and can range from hip-hop, electronic, jazz, and r&b, and also to a more orchestral type of sound all with a very experimental approach, using sound synthesis at heart.
